CNN’s latest editorial reshuffle—just weeks after the last—has staffers dizzy, as the network tries to find its digital footing with a layered org chart.

On Tuesday morning, CNN Executive Editor Virginia Moseley sent out a memo to staff announcing yet another editorial restructuring—this time, a significant reversal. Less than one month after Philip Rucker was handed control of most of CNN’s Washington editorial operation, sidelining longtime executive Adam Levine, Moseley told staffers that she was elevating Rucker to a broader role while reinstating Levine as the day-to-day leader of the D.C. newsroom.
