ABC News is hammering out a deal to keep George Stephanopoulos on its air.
The "Good Morning America" co-anchor and his agent Alan Berger have for several weeks been working to strike an agreement with the broadcast network, according to people familiar with the matter. They're now said to be in the later stages of the negotiation process.
